I guess Black Vanilla still haven’t been able to find a new drummer and are continuing on as a three-man group in the mean time. Regardless, I’m happy to see them back in action, even if this is another clingy don’t-leave-me song. But I don’t know, I kind of like the desperate picture the second verse started painting, with the lyrics like “I’ll use my hand to block your good-bye,” that moves it away from just plugging your fingers in your ears and saying “I’m won’t listen to you!” or crying and begging “please don’t go!” and turns into something more physical, like “I’m going to cover your mouth and literally stop you from saying good-bye.” I hope the music video conveys something that shows the guy going crazy trying to hold the girl back, like gagging her or tying her up. (I like psychotic drama, what can I say)
