*Sigh* I used to be optimistic every time the Mousses released a new single, hoping that this one would be different… But it never is, and now I start to dread their new releases aha. Another song about a dying relationship from this band, as expected, though this time it’s because the guy screwed up and not the girl, so I guess they’re shaking it up a tiny bit. This music video also has some color too! Even though it is only skin tone. But. Baby steps, I guess. Again, this isn’t a bad song music-wise, and I want to like it, but the Mousses have become such one-trick ponies, that I find it hard to get excited about their music anymore. Honestly, I think the best part about this song was TJ’s rap; I don’t know if that’s a compliment for TJ or an insult for the Mousses haha, but TJ’s rap verses really have been getting better lately, his English is getting stronger, and everything more cohesive. I think the rap verse sounded a bit strange and disjointed being thrown in the middle of an otherwise dragging rock song, but~ This is a good song if it’s your first taste of the Mousses, but aren’t long-time fans sick of the same subject matter of their lyrics, or am I the only one who likes a good variety?
Also, a bit unrelated, but is that a real tattoo of the shark from Finding Nemo on Air’s chest? haha
